Good stromboli in Seattle?

Is it possible?

  1. I'm still looking, but would love to know if someone's found it!

    1. We used to sell stromboli at one of our restaurants and NOBODY bought it. We figured out it was because nobody new what they were, so we tweaked the recipe and changed the shape and sold them as calzones. They sell like hot cakes now.

So, no, I don't know where you can get them, but I know why you can't find them.

That's very interesting, but it would be helpful to know what restaurant you are writing about.

      2. Stromboli was the "special" at Tutta Bella on Stone Way when I ate there last week. Didn't order it, as it's hard to pass up the pizza, but imagine it would've been good.

I am pretty sure Tutta Bella has never offered up a stromboli......

I was as surprised as you. It was a nightly special. Haven't seen it before or since.

Strange.....I went to TB at Stone Way last night in hopes of finding some stromboli. Our server shot me a blank look when I asked about it and the GM and chef had no recollection of it ever been served.

        2. If you are looking for a good stromboli sandwich, go to the "Smoking Monkey Pizza" in downtown Renton.613 S 3rd St.
