I recommend Yeti on York road and Northern Pkwy. Great indian food and they deliver (might be limited area). We count on it for high-quality indian food every time. It does take >45 mins to get the food sometimes- be warned.

I thought Mt Everest was on the greasy side. Not very good. I don't know about the Frankford Rd location; only ate at the one on Belair Rd. Wouldn't go there again.

It's funny - I've been to the Belair Rd location of Mt Everest twice and just loved it. I talked it up and my neighbor went there (he is also a big Kitchen of India - Joppa Rd fan) and he didn't like it at all. Maybe they are inconsistent? Maybe it's because it's a new location?

BTW ronandaim, I disagree with you about Cafe Spice vs Kitchen of India, but I guess I'll just have to agree to disagree. : )

I find Kitchen of India to be bland. Plus I think the owners of Cafe Spice are fantastic. If you have only ever tried Cafe Spice's buffet, I urge you to go there for dinner. I'm not a big fan of their buffet (or any buffet for that matter), but the dinner menu can't be beat!

I don't particularly like the Kitchen of India buffet, but when you order off the menu, they do have some very authentic flavors if you ask for it. I also like Cafe Spice but Kitchen of India is a little closer to where I live, so I go there often.

I like Mt Everest as well. They also have a location at 4907 Frankford Ave which delivers.

I love Cafe Spice on York Road in Towson. I much prefer Cafe Spice to Kitchen of India. However, Yeti (also on York Road, but just off of Northern Parkway) delivers and is actually pretty good.

Tamber's Diner will prepare carry-out food as well. For the price I find them to be better than the Ambassador, seriously.

Mt Everest on Belair Road in the shopping center with K-Mart and Salvo Auto Parts (just outside the beltway) - I've never had takeout here - I always sat down and dined.

Kitchen of India on Joppa Road in Parkville - they do lots of take out business.
