I realize this gets said quite a bit, but if somehow, you haven't managed to stumble across Capogiro gelato before, get thee down to Rittenhouse. We actually managed to hit it up twice- once for a pick me up of doppio shot americano for me and a proper, thick, pudding-like topped with a plate of fresh cream cioccolato caldo for my companion. We then proceeded to return early in the afternoon for a taste down Heaven Lane, because honestly? This, this is AMAZING. Skip the biscotti- as much as I adore Gilda's biscotti, you can find them elsewhere. Heirloom Apple Cider with Clove sorbetto, not so much. Nor Mexican Chocolate. Or Cioccolato Scuro, or Sicilian Blood Orange....(although the last wasn't actually as assertive as I would have liked- refreshing, but not as intense as biting into one fresh off the tree. The chocolate, on the other hand, was fabulous.)

Yes, the price tag is as rich as the taste. It's worth it. Thank you, oh chowhounds, for such insistence on its glory in many previous threads!
