BYOB in/near Old City

I am looking for a nice BYOB within walking distance of the Sheraton Old City. We have reservations for LaCroix on Saturday so preferably something on the other side of the spectrum food wise.

Chloe, Bistro 7, Locanda Il Ghittone, and Radicchio, which is a longish walk from the Sheraton--say, 20 minutes or so. Chloe and Radicchio don't take reservations, so get there before 6. Ghittone does; not sure about Bistro 7.

There are a couple great sushi places near there that are both BYO, Zento and Uzu. Zento (my favorite) is on Chestnut between Front and 2nd St., Uzu is right around the corner on Front.

If you don't mind walking a few blocks, in the other direction lie South St. and Queen Village, there are many good BYOs there, including Cochon at Passyunk Ave. and Catherine St.

I wasn't impressed with Chloe on my only visit a couple years ago, but that's just me.

BH, I wasn't impressed with my first Chloe experience either, but I went back about a month ago and I have to say, it was excellent. The homemade complimentary hummus was great. I had a full rack of fall-off the-bone ribs which was so good, I may just go back by myself for it. I can't remember the details of the total meal, but everything was top notch. You should give it another try sometime.

I probably will, unfortunately my list of places I'd like to get back to is very very long. Actually I should probably shut up about Chloe at this point, since my only experience with the place is a couple years old now.

        Chloe. It must be Chloe.
