I know there's some great places at the St. Regis but I wouldn't want to force nor do we want Price to be an issue. We'll be dinning with 3 other couples and would like a place that has both fresh fish and some great steaks, views would be a plus. I really don't know my way around the area so any help would be great. Any suggestions for something nearby or taxi close? Thanks Thu May 08 11:42:49 -0700 2008 3668951 20304 afs 3 3669002 at $40 per entree, i'd suggest staying at the st regis and dining at stonehill tavern. iirc, all the entrees were price in the mid to upper 30's with only a couple dishes being over $40. service is very good as is the presentation. they have a dover sole and halibut on the menu, not counting the daily specials (monkfish was the special when i dined there). they also have a great (so i've heard) tasting menu as well. The monkfish was $35 when I went a few months ago. Berkshire Pig was $37.
