Recent Changes at Cavaillon

Captain Jack May 8, 2008 11:12 AM

Ric Rushing has been brought on board as the maitre d'hotel at Cavaillon.

A service staff member who has drawn customer complaints in the past (as discussed on this board) has been terminated.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Chef Verpiand's new May foie gras menu on the 1st, and I can testify that the food and service were superb.

Awesome! That foie gras menu looks fantastic; I'll have to make a trip there soon.

thanks for the update. I was wondering when/if the said waiter was going to get the boot.

Great to hear, a shame about their service problem.

I've only had brunch there and might give dinner a chance. How busy does this place get for Friday/Saturday dinner? Is it quiet enough to have comfortable conversation? I tend to make reservations on short notice, and prefer places with enough space for privacy.

It can be a little noisy inside but outside is great on a warm evening. You can check availability at www.opentable.com.
