soy milk in osaka/tokyo/kyoto

Could someone please recommend a place that makes fresh soy milk every day? By fresh i mean made daily where they scoop it from the pot.
Also, last time i came to japan, i brought a small carton of milk from the convenience store and the milk was so yummy! Does anyone know the brand i'm referring to or can recommend a brand for me to try? The milk does taste a lot different than that in USA/Australia.

By the way, I'll be going to osaka , tokyo and kyoto so any recommendations there would be super! thanks

Sorry to have caused the confusion. I really should have used two separate post for this :). I'm after two things: soymilk and normal milk
    1) My enquiry for soy milk i was after non-convenience store/ non supermarket type- as fresh as it can get!
    2) My enquiry for normal milk I was after a good brand in which i can find in super market and convenience stores

    Hope this clears it up

If you want the freshest stuff, you need to find a tofu shop. There are many in and around Tokyo. I have an 80 year old uncle in Ota ward, who takes his usual morning walk and goes by the local tofu shop and gets his liter of soy milk each day.

THanks. For soy milk i am after the freshly made ones, not the pre packaged ones.

Only the milk i was after the ones in the supermarket. any recommendations?

In my experience, fresh non-commercial soy milk is not available in most supermarkets. I think where the confusion lies--if you ask for soy milk from a convenience store, people are going to recommend commercially-made milk, not fresh soy milk.

This brand http://www.rakuten.co.jp/healthykfc/388342/413158/ is my favourite. It also comes in matcha, royal milk tea (harder to find), and coffee flavours, but the plain one is very good, too. I tried Silk brand after drinking this brand for so long, and I thought Silk was disgusting in comparison.

Be careful, though. There's a similar-looking container with a yellow sun on it rather than a bird that's not nearly as good. http://image.www.rakuten.co.jp/fleur/... is the not-as-good one, in my opinion.

I like the brand of soy milk you recommend as well, though it's important to note that the second ingredient is sugar.

            FYI, the ingredient list is:

Soybeans (Canadian, non-genetically modified), sugar, rice oil, salt, calcium lactate, emulsifier, glue fee (carrageenan), perfume

It's not really all that encouraging as ingredients go with the sugar, oil, emulsifier and "perfume" (whatever that is).

Yes, that's true. But I don't think there's very much sugar in it, because it's really not that sweet, especially compared to North American brands.
