Hungry on 24

I travel to Boston from Newport, RI 2-3X/week for work. Quite often I'm anxious to leave the city by 3 to avoid the onslaught of southbound traffic. I often find myself wishing there was somewhere to stop to pick up tasty take out/ prepared foods for dinner on the ride home - I'll eat anything, Greek, Middle Eastern, Italian are my faves. There isn't even a Whole Foods. Nada. Anyone have any easy on/off suggestions Braintree, Brockton, Bridgewater, Fall River?

Thanks

Please don't laugh...but the Holiday Inn in the Westgate Mall Plaza in Brockton (visible from Rte. 24, heading southbound it's exit 18A) has a nondescript restaurant called "The Grill"--and I have discovered that they make incredible grape leaves (meat kind). You can order them individually or as a lunch plate with a side (rice, fries, etc.). Lemony and tasty and lamby. They have other Greek/Middle Eastern things on the menu but I can't vouch for them.

    Who would have thought?!?
