exciting adventures in the Willamette Valley

I am a restaurant owner from Denver, Co. We are planning a staff trip to Portland and the Willamette Valley. Looking for good suggestions for things to do.(Dinners, wine trips, mushroom foray, crabbing on the coast, farmer's markets?, etc.) I lived in Portland over 10 years ago and I am trying to reaquaint myself with this great food and wine region. I have noticed that a lot of the same great restaurants are still there. Any new ones that are worth the experience?

If The Bay House near Lincoln City was there when you lived in Portland, revisit it. If not, it's definitely worth making a reservation. Great food and very impressive wine list.
