Seroff's Meats in Irvington, NJ

Anyone know anything about this place? I was searching for something else and came across it quite randomly.

Dont know that place, but Maple Kosher which is in the same area of the state (NJ) is great.

Maple Kosher is fine, but it's not cheap. Actually we are generally satisfied with the meat at Zayda's since we rarely need true butcher's work/cuts.

If your looking to do less expensive (no kosher meat is cheap), around here people do the buy a deep freeze and fill it from Brooklyn.

(While Ive thought about it, and even have a deep freeze, I havent actually done this myself. )

To be fair, Seroff's has been in business a long time, and has a fine reputation with its customers. Because of their location, they do a significant delivery business to the areas where the Jewish population has now moved.
Zayda's has skilled butchers, and will cut meat very nicely to order. You just have to ask, and rib steaks, skirts, and chops will be nicely prepared.
Maple has great meat, is sparklingly clean, and has terrific butchering service, as well.

So Ruben, does its location also enable it to keep prices a bit lower than Zayda's and Maple? I'd love for all three to be successful and would do business with Seroff's to help that be the case.
