Large Group Dining (65 people) in Greenwich Village

Can anyone suggest a few places in and around Greenwich Village (I'd prefer to go from Houston to 12th Street and from 7th Avenue to Broadway) for a sit down dinner for 65 people? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

  1. Try The Harrison

    1. That's a perfect number for the downstair area at Alta. They will have a minimum revenue to hit, but they will do an excellent job. Much easier to work with if you're willing to have dinner earlier in the evening, like 6pm. We did our rehearsal dinner w/ them a year ago, and they were happy to start serving drinks (as part of the package price) to our guests that were showing up as early as 5pm.
      cash & amex only.

      1. Help us narrow down the choices by giving us more details (budget, cuisine?)

        1. It would be helpful to know what your general budget is and whether you are looking for a very large restaurant with a private room that can accommodate a party of 65, or whether you intend to rent out whichever restaurant you choose. The latter would probably cost more, but might open up more possibilities. There aren't too many grand scale restaurants in the Village, though Del Posto comes to mind.
I think you could also try for the back room at Crispo.
