Food & Music in Charlotte this Friday?

It looks like I'm going to have to kill about 6 hours in Charlotte this Friday evening (roughly 6pm -midnight). Are there any food + music venues, preferably not too far from the Verizon Amphitheater?

There is nothing like that near Verizon. You could find a bar that has a band, like the Flying Saucer, but that's about it.
You could go to Puckett's where they have live music but I don't think they have food. It is on Sugar Creek, maybe 15 minutes from Verizon. http://www.puckettsfarm.com/
In NoDa there is one larger concert venue called the Neighborhood Theatre and a small one called the Evening Muse, but neither serve food. There are restaurants nearby. It would take you about 20 minutes to get there. NoDa is the neighborhood surrounding N. Davidson St and 36th.
Downtown on College St. is the Alley Cat and they have live music and food.
