Favorite kid-friendly restaurant?

Some friends are coming this weekend with their boys, ages 3 and 4. Where do people like to go that both adults and kids enjoy? The boys are well-behaved and neither children nor adults are especially picky eaters.

  1. I love Redbones (Davis Sq) for families. They are very kid friendly. Kids love sucking on ribs and getting messy. Adults have a killer beer list. The food is pretty good. We've had a lot of fun going up to the little counter in front of the cooks and watching them do the ribs. The guys are really nice to kids and often give samples of different foods if it's not too busy.

    1. I agree Redbones is a fun place for both kids and adults. Full Moon in Huron Village is an option too though it can get a bit over run by kids. Jasper White's Summer Shack is also kid friendly.

      1. Do you have a particular geographic location in mind? Dim sum is always good with kids.

        1. Many suggestions of Sel de Terre on these boards as well. Have to admit that when my kid was this age, we didn't live here, so can't speak from personal experience.

          1. Stars on Hingham Harbor -- right on 3A. The kiddest friendliest place I've ever been, and the food is good too, with something to please everyone.

If It's a nice day, keep on driving down 3A and head over to Hull for a walk on the beach. The carousel has just re-opened for weekends, too!
