Good Lunch in Downtown DC

l

I am looking for a good restaurant for a Friday lunch in the downtown D.C. area. I am open to any ethnicity, just some good food. I am not too concerned with the price, although I don't want it to be overly expensive and I denifinitely want a sit down place that won't be overly ruched. Busy restaurants are fine as well, but I would prefer if I could make a reservation then. I don't mind walking a bit but I would like something that is relatively close to the Farragut area and this could include up to like Dupont Circle or over down moving into the McPhereson square area on that east side of the White House. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Go for the Hawker Zone (street food) menu at Heritage India. Exceptional gobi masalam, chaat pari, and bhel puri. Rasmalai for dessert. Just below Dupont Circle.

How about the Tabard Inn? Not sure what the weather is like but if you could snag a seat at the outside courtyard it's one of the most relaxing lunches around...plus the food is good. Another restaurant with an outdoor options is Hank's Oyster Bar or Dupont Grill.

Downtown you can check out PS7, Bistro D'Oc or Central (certainly will want to check for reservations first though)

Perhaps Spezie (can make a reservation online and is right at Farragut North) or Malaysia Kopitiam?
