Indiana & Michigan - close to Interstate 80

My son and I are driving coast-to-coast on Interstate 80, leaving San Francisco on Sunday May 18. We are looking for good places to eat in Indiana and Michigan, close to Interstate 80. Thanks!

For a good homestyle meal get off at the Middlebury exit in Indiana maybe it is 116 I forget.Go thru Middlebury to route 20 and turn right about a mile for Das Essenhaus.Amish/Mennonite style meals.You will eat enough there you can make it to the other end of the trip.

I-80 is the Indiana Toll Road, it runs thropugh Indiana but at times runs very close to
Michigan.

Prime Table in Niles Michigan, is a very good greek place and is about 6 miles north of the toll road

I wasn't a geography major but I don't believe I - 80 goes through Michigan. I can help with the exits near Toledo if you're interested. What are you looking for anfd how close to the interstate do you want to stay?

As I recall, there's a great Lebanese restaurant on Reynolds Rd. in Toledo north of exit 60 called Byblos -- go north maybe a mile and look for it on the left. Is it still there? You can eat yourself silly, and it's all good.

Byblos is good but it is more than a mile from the turnpike exit. Another possibility is Loma Linda, a Toledo institution located a little east of the interchange at Toledo express airport, fun, inexpensive tex-mex.
