Mother's Day Dinner North of Boston

I'm hoping someone can suggest a place for a mother's day dinner (small group - just for 4) north of boston. Looking for something nice but not too stuffy...

Wherever you decide to go, I'd strongly recommend making reservations immediately. Mother's Day and Valentine's Day are usually the two busiest days of the year at most places.

I'll second Donatello's. Went there for Mom's birthday last month (per CH recommendation) and it was excellent. Very good food, excellent service and ambience, and reasonable prices.

My perennial recommendation is Donatello's on Rte.1 North in Saugus. Lovely rooms, very good Italian food, a variety of dishes and excellent service.
