great site. hope my recommendations help, but this time I need help. Any good ideas for dinner in Harlem? I know about Sylvia's but am looking for something a bit more sexy.

What about Itzocan - really interesting French/Mexican food - 101st & Lexington? Not sure it's "sexy" though ....

Forget Sylvia's-these days it's pretty much a tourist destination with very mediocre food. Three great places are Amy Ruth's on 116th between lenox and 7th, Miss Maude's Spoonbread II on Lenox and 137th, and fior the best fried chicken in the known universe, Charles' Southern Kitchen on 8th and 151- Charles also has a place on 125th Street( don't know the name) and you can get his chicken at rack and Soul on Broadway and 109th.
