New Indian in Wyndmoor?

Driving through today I noticed what appeared to be a recently opened Indian restaurant..

Bhaggaya's Kitchen...I think I butchered that spelling...on Willow Grove ave.

I didnt have time..but was wondering whether anyone's been??

I love it..And the food is not only healthful (not fried and not oily )a lot of it is vegan..My daughters vegan and its very convenient.The lentil fritters are great and I just had veggies
with a cashew coconut sauce. Its right across from the 7-11 on Willow Grove before the firehouse.

It took me a week to find this location. The place definately need more signage. I am a big fan of John's stand in the farmer's market. I have always found his food to be fresh and well executed. Best Indian in the area. I prefer it to GheeChee Girl and Palace of Asia in Fort Washington.

Geechee Girl is most certainly not an Indian restaurant. It is southern influenced, specifically coastal South Carolina.

Yes, that is right. They have the Indian stand at the farmer's market.

I'm pretty sure that it's run by the same people who do the Indian food in the c-hill farmer's market. good stuff, although not food i'd consider destination-food, more good to have local food.

I got takeout last week and liked it. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala which was very good, the Lamb Rogan Josh (?) which was spicy but flavorful. The naan wasn't the best I've had but I think that is because it's in the refrigerator. The kheer (rice pudding) was excellent, however.

It also was a bit more expensive than I expected, but not terrible.

It is actually just take out. I'd say it is good and convenient...but not great.
