I was there last night at 6.30pm. No lines. At 7pm there were some people waiting but I don't think it's a significant wait.

It was 1.5 hours when I tried around that time last week, and that was BEFORE the NY Times review. I shudder to think what it might be now.

dang. what time did you go? i've tried a few times during lunch and been given estimates of 45 minutes to an hour.

I went on a weekday on the later side -- definitely after 2P. I did wait, but it was only about 5-10 minutes.

This will probably die down in a few months. Remember when the first Beard Papa opened up on the UWS? The lines were down the block. It's much more manageable now.

unfortunately, i can't go much later than 1.30 during the week which probably puts me in the midst of the lunch rush. fortunately, setagaya is nearby. until things calm down at ippudo, i'm happy to eat there.

i went for lunch at ippudo about 2 weeks ago, maybe 3? i went at noon and they sat me immediately. i was there all in all for just shy of an honor and i never saw the place fill up. it was a tuesday FYI.
