Anthony Bourdain on tour?

I see that Anthony Bourdain is going on tour and coming to Seattle.

He's amusing during a book signing, but that's only 30 mins to fill, and it's free.

Has anyone caught his on tour "performance" in any other cities?

  1. Do you have a link with tour cities?

    1. I saw when he was here (Philly) for a book signing at the Free Library. He spoke for about 30 mins, took lots of questions, and then did the signing. I thought he was great, typical Bourdain. Talked about vegans, Lebanon, and how Ratatouille is the greatest food movie ever made.

      1. Can I follow Bourdain on tour, kind of like people use to follow the Grateful Dead? I could sell fish on Mondays to pay expenses.

Only if you space dance in the back of the room as he is talking.

        2. He came to Austin last year and spoke for about an hour telling stories from his travels.
But it was $100 a ticket so that priced me out.
          It got good reviews though

          1. My first book signing event was on June 13, 2006 in Seattle when Tony Bourdain was on tour promoting The Nasty Bits. BEST EVER! Sat in the front and stood in very long line to have him autograph my copy. His assistant, Beth, took photos.

I always buy his books. He's my favourite writer/chef/traveller/actor

But are you going to pay $35 for the cheap seats to see him at the Moore Theater?

I didn't pay anything to see him at The Nasty Bits book signing. I won't be attending the event at the Moore Theater. I'll be out of town that weekend. Are you going?
