Leftover white wine

I have some leftover Chardonnay that's been sitting in the fridge for more than two weeks. I've been meaning to throw it out but can I still use it for cooking? When is uncorked white wine too old for cooking?

You can also freeze it in an ice cube tray or shot glasses, so you have some wine to add to sauces and whatnot at a later time.

Good idea freezing in the shot glasses -- rarely do I have enough of anything for a full tray.

Great as the acid in a vinaigrette, also great to poach chicken with, use instead of water when making rice, etc. Adds some great flavor to sauces. Yum!

When it tastes bad...take a sip and if it tastes OK, go ahead and cook with it!

          Easy enough! Thanks Husky.
