Need Help With Seafood Dinner for 10 on Sat in May

I am going to be with a group in Seattle on a Sat night in May prior to a cruise. Most people want some good seafood with a view but without breaking the bank. Can anyone give suggestions for places that would be good? We will have a car so we can drive outside of downtown. Thanks.

  1. Depends on what you want, and what you think breaking the bank is. We recently entertained a large group (8) at Ettas near Pike Place -- food was great, service was excellent, able to handle a large group easily on a busy night. Doesn't have the best view per se but does have the Market atmosphere and has a nice-ish view. Chinooks up in interbay has a different, more fisherman's terminal view, is somewhat cheaper, and is a little more straightforward, plain jane seafood. It's great with kids, if that's part of your deal. Anthony's on the pier is fine for seafood, has the best view, but is a little overpriced. If I was choosing, I'd choose Ettas.

Thanks. I think Edgewater is breaking the bank as is Waterside Grill. There are people who want crab cakes and some want mussels. Great salmon or other local fish is also appreciated.

Ray's Boathouse on Shilshole Bay in Ballard. Or if that's too expensive, the upstairs bar/cafe still has a number of seafood selections and is priced more reasonably:

I really think Chinook's is the best value for seafood. The view of Fishermen's Terminal is pretty cool, and depending what time of year you're here, you might even see some of the boats that you've seen on Deadliest Catch!!
