Dining for One Tonight - 5/4/08

Staying near Market/Valencia and here for some training. Looking for a treat-myself dinner tonight. I always veer towards sushi (love a good omakase) or seafood. Would be amenable to a good tasting menu. Very open to suggestion.

Thanks!

Quite nearby is Cav. No tasting menu per se but you could order a succession of small plates.

Normally some of the best sushi in town at Sebo on Hayes, but Sunday nights they have an izakaya menu.

A few blocks down Valencia is Bar Tartine.

All the above are very comfortable places for solo dining at the bar.

Thank you for the suggestions, which I just got. I had been to Sebo and had a pretty good sushi experience there the second to last time I was in SF. Tonight, I wound up going to Aqua for the tasting menu - very fun!
