Rattlesnake?

Kind of an oddball question... but I've noticed that Savenor's sells rattlesnake meat. At $44 a pound it's a little too pricey to taste-test, so I'm wondering if anyplace in town has rattlesnake on the menu.

I have had rattlesnake (not from Savenor's) and it does, in fact, taste a lot like chicken.

Yeah, that's what I hear! I'm actually asking for a friend who's itching to buy the Savenors rattlesnake just to taste it. I've seen rattlesnake at restaurants in California, usually as an appetizer with a corny name like "Texas Rattler Rings".

I've never partaken, but my Mom's had snake in Hong Kong and China and she says it tastes like chicken too.
