Hey I was wondering if anyone had any good places that sell a good selection of fresh seeds and spices around the east side.

Check out your local Farmers Markets - They always have such items. :)

I don't know what kind of seeds you're looking for but fresh spices are a slam dunk if you know of any serious Indian markets. Sorry that I'm not familiar with the Eastside but in the Westside we have Bharat Bazaar/Samosa House that has incredibly fresh spices (and seeds that are roasted and used for spices). One would be hard-pressed to find a cuisine that uses a greater variety and quantity of spices and seasoning than that of Indian cuisine so I personally would start there...

Penzys spices has a great selection. I go to the one in Torrance 21301 Hawthorne Blvd. I believe they are a chain and may even be available on line. They have sample jars to help you make your choices.
