I just called Goodies because I also couldn't believe it is closed. The man on the phone told me they are relocating probably to Fulton Street near the Seaport area. He said most likely by next month, September. Cool! Can't wait!

The owner (guy with the pony tail) told us a few months ago that they would be moving. If you call the restaurant's phone number, you get a message with his voice telling you that you can leave a message with your name and phone number if you want to be notified of their new location when they do reopen. I certainly hope they find a new space soon.

I was there a little less than a month ago and all seemed well. Is it true? I will be horrified if it is - best and cheapest soup dumplings in the universe.

I haven't been there in a quite a number of years. Did they still have the $2 for 8 soup dumpings special last time you went?

Last I went it was more like $4 for 8-9 soup dumplings - but still can't beat that. Plus they are best tasting SD in t he city - so price and quality make it fantastic - which is why I am nervous about the closing.
