I plan to be in Toronto in the Bay and Lakeshore area and would like some recommendations for places to eat at. Not very knowledgable about the area (I'm from Mtl) and want to experience the best of the area. Thanks!

The Niagara Street Cafe is one of the best value restaurants I've been to in Toronto - definitely give it a try.

Depends on what you mean by "best value". Do you want low-priced places or value for the money whether the money's large or small?

There's nothing exactly at your intersection. It's more condo's, hotel, and of course the Air Canada Centre. Not too far away, as in about 1k, are the following:

          Beer Bistro http://www.beerbistro.com/
          Colborne Lane http://www.colbornelane.com/
          Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar http://www.jkkitchens.com/v6/restaura...
          Take Sushi http://www.takesushi.ca/

The neighbourhoods to the east of where you're staying are building up rapidly with condos/townhouses. New restaurants are popping up like weeds hoping to cash in on the waterfront development. If you're not coming for another month or two, I would suggest checking again as you may get a whole new set of answers.
