Wasabi Peanuts at Central
Central, at the bar, serves these fantastic wasabi peanuts (that have a crunchy coating on them, not a powdery coating - i mean really a really crunchy shell, harder than a peanut m&m). They also have sesame peanuts with the same type of coating. But anyway, I am wondering if anyone knows where these peanuts come from. I want to buy a whole boat of them. Yes, I should have asked the bartender, but I didn't. Does anyone know what I'm talking about/know the answer to my query? Thanks!
I have not yet been to Central, so I don't know if these are the same thing, but Virginia Peanuts have a wonderful product that they call Yin & Yang Peanuts. They are these green wasabi nuts (with that hard shell) mixed with honey roasted peanuts. It's a lovely combination of spicy and sweet. Highly recommended. I used to get them at Wegman's.
