I want to make veal stock and need some bones... CM said they randomly get them in but never seem to have them when I'm there. Any reliable source?

I have ordered veal bones from CM, I'm not sure who you talked to, you may want to ask the service desk. You might also try longhorn meats on e. mlk, they are a real butcher shop and i've heard from cooks around town that they get them there.

Also, CM charges too much for them. I can't remember the actual price. You coupld also try the butcher at 34th and Kerbey Lane area (can't remember the name).

I've tried Longhorn and it's about the only thing they don't sell.

I feel your pain. I looked EVERYWHERE and couldn't find them. Finally, I talked to Russel at the meat counter at Whole Foods. Now he orders them for me when I need them. I can't remember how much they are a pound but I think I paid around $13 for 5lbs last time.
