Restaurant Near Tarrytown Music Hall

I'm going to a concert and I'm looking for a nice restaurant close by. Any suggestions?

We liked Isabella Bistro for Italian food -- a few blocks down on Main Street. One peeve was that their menu prices were higher than those posted on their website, but I just checked and I think this has been corrected. http://www.isabellabistro.com/

Isabella's looks like it has a pretty nice menu. I can't believe I've never heard of this place, I will put it in the books to try. Do you know if they have any prix fixe nights?

There's a new restaurant that truly SHINES, Sweet Grass Grill, 24 Main Street, right across from the Music Hall. I have been there four times since they opened last month. All four meals have been very good. If you like Stone Barns, the good news is the produce and the preparation is very reminiscent of there. The better news is that the prices are a good value. No entrees are above 20$, there are hamburgers for under $10.

The kitchen is small, and the restaurant is new, so service can be slow at times. But once the food comes out, you'll realize it's worth the wait!

Thanks, I'll make them 5:30 just to be safe.

Getting there early is better for parking as well. They have parking underneath a small apartment building right across the street. The block will be busy because of the Greek place.

Oh and if you check at www.myclipper.com you may find a B1G1F entree coupon for Que Chula. If not, they're on Rewards Network.

We went to Ichi Riki's on 119 when we went to the Music Hall. Very fresh sushi. Loved the oshi zushi.

Thanks for the advice. Que chula looks good. I think well go there. Should be fun before the show.

Some said it was slow. The shows at 8pm, how does 6pm reservations sound?

That's probably enough time at Que Chula... We had dinner for four about 2 months ago and it took two hours, but we also took our time. Maybe streamline your ordering... we ordered apps and drinks while we perused the menu, then they came and took entree orders, so it took a good while

I'm surprised, their menu doesn't look that good. How far away is Ruth Chris?

Not too far - Ruth's Chris is located at the big Marriot hotel (not the Courtyard Marriot) on Route 119 (White Plains Rd.).

While I have not been there since the end of last summer (we like to eat outside), we have been generally pleased with both the gyros and the souvlaki. We haven't ventured to other parts of the menus.

Santa Fe (Mexican/Tex-Mex) and Jack & Dyl's (American - good short ribs!) are just up and down the block, respectively, from the Music Hall.
                              Happy Anniversary!

Never tried it - but I'll take your word for it! I can only speak for Jack and Dyl's. stevel just asked for a Mexican rec -- I think there's one on Valley St - right near Santorini - can't remember the name offhand.

Que Chula es Puebla... though I'd be concerned about the slow service if I had a show to get to.

If you like Indian, there's Cafe Tandoor, on North Broadway. It's around the corner, a bit north of Lefteris. Attractive, upscale environment.
