Between Tulalip and Lynnwood

LFP May 2, 2008 11:15 AM

Heading up north Sunday afternoon and am looking for a good dinner en route back to the city. Is the Casino good? We could just head back into the city, but since we are out and about we want to try something new. Great Mexican, French or Italian would be our preference, but otherwise just want to hear about anything worth trying out. Thanks for your suggestions!

There is great Mexican grilled chicken in Everett. Jonathan Kauffman describes it better:

Is it as good as described? I've never been but often drive by.

Their chicken is fantastic if you eat it there. It loses a lot when it cools. Everything else is pretty ordinary.

Of the eating options at the casino, I think the fine dining option, Tulalip Bay, would be your best bet. There is a dearth of good French dining in Snohomish county, and I am hardpressed to think of any other than Charles at Smugglers Cove in Mukilteo. For Mexican that is more than the usual melted cheese on everything, I like Frida's in the Mill Creek area. In terms of Italian, I like Lombardi's at the Everett Marina, Amici Bistro in Mukilteo, Stella Mia's in Bothell, Il Bistro Vino in Everett and Gianni's in Everett.

Although it is out of your way, you will not be that far from Bistro San Martin in Arlington, which is very, very good.
