Crispy fried Chinese chicken wings in GTA?

Looking for chicken wings without sauce, batter is okay - the Chinese deep fried ones, not with honey garlic sauce or fish sauce.

Anyone know reasonable price take-out in Markham/Scarborough (reasonable = not more than 70c per wing). The little place in the foodcourt at Woodside used to have them, but they closed down.

Thanks!

Fantasy Eatery at Midland and Silver Star has really nice seasoned spicy wings. I believe it's $5 per order, and there's about 10 pieces. Don't quote me on that though, I havent ever counted them, so I cant be sure. But it's either $5 or $5.50 per order. They're really yummy ... comes out freshly fried, definitely got the crispy criteria that you're looking for. :) And you can totally order them for take out too, I've done that before.

Congee Star on Don Mills between Lawrence and Eglinton (on the west side).

they have chicken wings on the menu, but we ask them to sub the fish sauce with this spicy salsa-esque sauce they put on the top.
the wings are very large, incredibly crispy and the hot sauce it excellent.
dry wings with some optional kick.

and they do kick...the crap out of St Louis et al.

Far from you - but China Gourmet at Carlton and Parliament have consistently had the best type of those wings for years.

i love these types of wings as well. great with just a light sprinkle of seasoned salt. elegant view at vic park and mcnicoll has them during dim sum service. many vietnamese places also have them.

I love the chicken wings at Tracey Dessert at First Markham -- crisp, juicy, and savoury (get the streetside-style cheung fan too!) Also, surprisingly the Congee Wong in First Markham has nice salt/chili chicken wings. I'm not sure about the price for either place, but they're both very reasonably priced places.

T & T will have them along with lots of other deep fried-such as quail- and otherwise prepared foods.
Get a container of the seaweed salad too, it's great (the bright green one)

Not really a big fan of the T&T wings.......gets pretty much cold when you buy them

You're right, that is usually the case.

I find though that pretty much all fried takeout, particularly anything with even a hint of batter or flouring is a bit soggy when you get it home. Pizza as well. We always put fried foods on a rack in the oven for a few minutes to crisp up, with the added benefit that an astounding amount of fat/oil drains out, allowing me be a customer for a few years longer, hopefully.
