Best Tomato Soup

I'm having a serious craving for some really great tomato soup using roasted tomatoes, cream and any other fabulous things that would make it tasty. I'm sure I can make it myself- but that's not really the point is it?
Any recommendations? I'm in Cambridge/Somerville- but any suggestions are welcome!

Both the Cream of Tomato and the Roasted Red Pepper with Tomato soups from Trader Joe's are quite good. They are in shelf-stable 1-qt cartons. The Martha Stewart line at Costco includes a refrigerated Cream of Tomato Soup that is good, but costs about twice as much.

Occasionally, the New England Soup Factory has a creamy Tomato Habanero with Havarti. Just enough heat to make it that more interesting.

Have not yet tried the tomato habanero but today I had the yellow tomato and rice with basil. So good.

West Side Lounge had a wonderful smoky tomato soup in recent months, but I can't guarantee it's still on the menu.

No, closed at least 10 years ago. It was my favorite in Chinatown.

The tomato soup/grilled cheese combo is quite tasty at The (Garden in the) Cellar on Mass Ave.

I really enjoyed the tomato soup at Upstairs on the Square in the Monday Club Bar. Don't recall a roasted tomato flavor, but there was certainly plenty of cream. It is served as a first course with a grilled cheese sandwich for $12. I think it is enough food for a meal.

I was thinking the same thing - perfect for a day like today.

The tomato soup at Davio's is also quite good, but that's not Somerville/Cambridge.

Just took a peek at that menu- sounds great, and the desserts look incredibly tempting!
