lunch in columbia, md
Going for lunch on sat. Any good ideas? Not a chain and we've already been to mango grove and the vegetarian place in a shopping center with the organic grocery store (can't remember name) thanks Hounds!

Ended up at Soto Grill. It's hard to find, located in the back of a condo/villa complex. Nice aesthetic and decent food. Greek salad easily fed the 2 of us. Pizza was the winner of the meal. Enjoyed the Greek pizza topped with tomato slices, olives, gyro meat, and feta. Crust was chewy but not tough. Interesting flavor that I never had before. Would get this again.

Are you sticking to veggie places? If not, then Maiwand Kabob in Harper's Choice center. They do have some great great veggies there, love the eggplant.
http://www.maiwandkabob.net/home.htmlYou have had some indian but I also rec House of India for a pretty good buffet.
Search the board for a number of message chains on the board about Columbia eats.

I really enjoy Pho Dat Thanh (9400 Snowden River Pkwy). I almost always have Pho and a spring roll, but I know they've recently expanded their menu to include more traditional Amer-Asian dishes. Don't know about dinner service, but the lunch service is usually decently efficient, and I think it's some of the better, meatier Pho in MD.
