I haven't been, but in generral, the owners of Proximity do a good job with their other restaurants. Here is a review Print Works form the local newspaper (I hope the link works!): http://www.gotriad.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...

Link worked fine...thanks...it sounds good

Print Works has great food. So does their sister restaurant Green Valley Grill-it's a little fancier-and right up the street. Both restaurants focus on local ingredients and they both have great wine lists.

I have been to the bar several times and highly recommend it. The restaurant has potential but in my opinion it has not reached the level of Green valley grill yet.

The onion soup is delicious and frites are very good too.

Besides Green Valley Grill up the road, they also own Lucky 32 in the same vicinity - all very good food. On New Year's Eve, I had a delicious lemon/vanilla martini and a flatbread at the bar at Proximity. Several months prior, I had their trout with sauteed spinach and grilled potatoes. All well prepared. You won't go wrong with any of the three choices.

So on their website they say they have an "honest drinking bar" what in the world do they mean by that?

I never got around to letting y'all know how much I enjoyed print works...it is absolutely lovely and they have a delightful patio. I had a yummy roasted beet salad with goat cheese, salmon with leeks and braised artichokes, and a seasonal fruit tart...delicious. Server was a bit of a ditz but no great hardship. I also found out what they meant by "honest drinking bar"...They mean no frozen drink, fake-tinis, shooters, etc...just good cocktails, beers, & wines in a nice spot that is not too crazy..
