<content>Since participation in this thread has been smallish, I am just going to post one thread for each book - e.g., "May/June Dessert COTM: Pure Dessert Recipe Discussion"

PURE DESSERT
http://www.chowhound.com/topics/514833#3645686

CHOCOLATE AND THE ART OF LOW FAT DESSERTS
http://www.chowhound.com/topics/514834#3645688

As I stated in the runoff thread, although Chocolate and the Art of Low Fat Desserts is out of print. However, Amazon has numerous copies starting at $7.95, and the libraries I checked (about 20 around the country from Atlanta to Fairbanks) all had it.

General comments about the books, kudos, pans, etc. can all go into this thread. Specific recipes may be discussed in the thread for each book.

I hope some kind soul will post any relevant on-line recipes.

Thanks. Oakjoan</content>

<content>I would volunteer to post some links, but they are so incredibly numerous, that I kinda gave up. Here's a thread where I posted a bunch of links to Medrich dessert recipes http://www.chowhound.com/topics/507757#3640385 , many of which from Pure Dessert. Also, there are a couple of links to Pure Dessert recipes here if you scroll down to about the middle of the page

http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/nibby-buckwheat-butter-cookies-recipe.html

I might try to post more later (unless someone else beats me to it, of course, and please do if you're up for it), but, in the meantime I've had success googling

Medrich recipe "Pure Dessert" OR

Medrich recipe "Art of low-fat dessert" OR

Medrich recipe "Art of low fat dessert"

<content>I might try this lemon curd tonight, actually, if I have energy enough to do so. I've been reading through the Art of Low-Fat Desserts book and everything sounds so delicious. Can't wait to try these recipes while waiting for my copy of Pure Dessert to come from the library.
