Fig Pantry closed temporarily

As I drove to work a few weeks ago I noticed the Fig Pantry smashed in front - the deli side. It looked like someone had kept driving through the stop and directly into the building. Sure enough.....

Oh dear, I have a friend whose business was in that location before the Fig moved in...as you can imagine, this isn't the first time that has happened. Sorry to hear it.

Yep, the Fig Pantry is gone. I really liked their prepared food. But the space used for their prepared food business was only 1/3 to 1/4 of the space in the place, the rest being used for gift-shop stuff. I wonder if it was the gift-shop or food business that was too slow. And yes, I remember prior incarnations of that space, way back to a sort-of general store.
