Canoe Dinner Recs

Hello all!

I have a friend flying in from Europe tomorrow evening and would like to take him to Canoe (view + dinner). I've only been to Canoe once, and it was a while ago that the menu changed.

What would you recommend for an appetizer (to split) and main? We are open to everything.

Last time there, I had the roast suckling pig and my companion had the beef tenderloin. We skipped starters so we could share the Maria's tasting dessert. We agreed that the food (and the view) were fantastic.
