Need help with pre-theatre Chelsea/Village

We're going to a show on W. 16th Street Saturday night, and are looking for an efficient pre-theatre spot, with or without a pre fixe. Moderate pricing is the order of the day. Leaning toward Italian, but we have wide tastes, so anything goes. Thanks!

Glad to help. Wanted to add Cafe de Bruxelles (mussels and Belgian food). Also, for really quick pub stuff, Corner Bistro (burgers) and Tavern on Jane (competent pub food).
