I think they're might be a banh mi place on 6th street (next to Burma, Kanlaya, Chinatown Express). But I keep thinking that place was abandoned.

Thanks,
WIA

We had banh mi at that place about a month ago. Don't know it's name. It was my first banh mi so I can't compare other than to say, I don't get it.

      Cafe-Deli Viet-Thai?

used to be kinda scary looking, good for carryout if you work in the area. funny how they never have the self-proclaimed specialty of the house (something like Hong Thai whatever that is) never tried the banh mi.

I've been to Cafe Deli and had the Pho. It's the Best Pho in Downtown.

(It's also the ONLY pho in downtown.)

Right next to it, allegedly, is the banh mi place.
