I live a block away and go there mostly for drinks. But for a burger or steak, it is great too. Without Village and Piadina (on W 10th), I could not survive!

Village is a good, solid neighborhood restaurant. I would not go out of my way for it, but it is always satisfying. I particularly like the oyster pan roast appetizer, the roast chicken is reliable, and the fish dishes are well-prepared.

I do. I've seen a number of large family groups there, and a couple of rehearsal dinners. I've eaten there at least 10 times, the last about 4 months ago, and I have nothing bad to say about the place. The food's always good, the service is always friendly and professional, and it's never too packed and crazy (that I've seen). I like their tuna burger, and the soup of the day is usually appealing.

Absolutely, there should be something to appeal to everyone, and it is easy to reserve on short notice.

I agree -- it's a solid neighborhood place, attractive room, good service, good cocktails, good food, and it's affordable!
