  1. Golden Temple in Brookline, hands down the best, it's real crab and doesn't have any cream cheese taste.

Agree... nothing is even close ....and you will pay through the eyeballs!!!

no Krab? no cream cheese taste?
what, i ask, is the point then?

I was thinking the same thing. Would someone elaborate on what makes the ones at Golden Temple so good?

      2. My favorites are from Bejing Duck in Braintree. They make them in house and they really filled them. I understand that Blue 22 in Quincy makes some quality rangoons as well.

agree with the Golden Temple suggestions, but will have to try the Beijing Duck recc..

        2. I like Chef Chow's on Harvard St in Brookline.

          1. It's been a few years, but I seem to recall that Pho Republique takes an original spin on Crab Rangoon. Not traditional, but unique. Your quote marks say it all, though-- "best" crab rangoon is like "best" chop suey...

            1. You might try Zenna Noodle Bar in Brookline near Coolidge Corner. I think they make the best one's I've had and I usually go to Chef Chows once a week. Never tried the GT ones.
