Where can I find huitlacoche, squash blossoms, and masa?

I am hoping to make a traditional mexican dinner for Cinco de Mayo but I need some help finding some ingredients. I am looking for Huitlacoche, squash blossoms, and masa for tortillas and tamales.

I used to be able to get canned huitlacoche (corn smut or mexican truffle) at save-a-center. I was wondering if anyone knew if they carry it at Rouses now that they have bought save-a-center.

Thanks all.

  1. pretty sure I saw it at the rouse's on tchoup.

    Good luck in your search.

    1. Try Union Supermarket in Kenner.

      1. Whole foods carries a good selection of mexican products. Also, there is a new latin grocery that has opened up on Tulane (near the old Albertsons).

        1. I've gotten squash blossoms at the farmer's market in the warehouse district. Obviously what's available what day is unpredictable, but they were great.
