Matcha in Manhattan?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make some matcha cookies for a housewarming party and I need to find some matcha (green tea powder). Ito-en carries it for about $15 for 20 grams, but I was thinking something cheaper. Does anyone know any good brands for cooking and/or where to buy it in Manhattan?

    Both Sunrise Mart and Jas Mart have matcha powder

      I buy mine at Ito En--the lowest grade was $12 last time I bought. I think I saw some at Whole Foods in Time Warner Ctr, it wasn't much cheaper.
