This is where I'd go. I went on Saturday night for dinner and it was outstanding. I particularly liked the risotto, the mozzarella salad (appetizer special), and the trifle for dessert. However, there were many other things on that menu that I'd go back to try.

Thanks for the reminder. I had a nice lunch there. Anyone else feel like chiming in? I'm going tomorrow. If not, Fraiche it is.

I would probably pick Fraiche too. But if you're feeling like something different, Akasha was good as a healthier pick.

Fraiche is far, far superior to Akasha. I love drinking at the bar at Akasha, but the food is sorely lacking in terms of flavor and execution.

I thought Akasha was decent, but the telltale sign is that neither my wife or I has talked about going back. That's in stark contrast to Fraiche, where we've talked about going back since we walked out on Saturday night. Akasha felt like a noble experiment, but Fraiche felt like a professional, first-rate kitchen.

I completely agree. Akasha is a gorgeous restaurant with excellent service but the food is underseasoned, bland and the flavors are poorly balanced. I hope they figure it out eventually because the concept is great. It just needs a lot of tweaking.

Uh Oh...they picked Akasha. Oh time Fraiche. Or Wilson. Thanks for the recommendations.

You won't regret Akasha. It's a curiosity (i.e. I can't believe they are able to pull that off with those ingredients). Unfortunately, dining curiosities don't tend to last that long.

Wilson is great. Gets the occasional mixed review, but I've been there four times myself (2 lunch, 2 dinner) and never been disappointed.
