Any good Mother's Day Brunch restaurants in Rockland or Bergen Counties??

margee Apr 28, 2008 02:38 PM

Anyone know of any resturants in Rockland or the northern part of Bergen County serving Mother's Day Brunch? Buffets are somewhat preferable because of kids and some picky adults involved, but if not a well-rounded menu would be good. Thanks!

I would suggest Restaurant X in Congers or the Hudson House in Nyack. I'm not very familar with Bergen.

Restaurant X told me they aren't doing Mothers' Day brunch this year, just regular lunch service.
You can never go wrong with Hudson House! I just returned from lunch there myself. :)

Peter Kelly's place - any of them are great but don't think they are OK for kids.
      No other suggestions I'm afraid.

Kids are welcome at X on Mother's Day. Last year my friend went with her 3 and she said it was great!

I may check out Mt. Fuji in Hillburn NY. I've read a few decent reviews. The buffet looks good for all types of eaters, but the main draw for me would be the sushi, and sushi roll. I've never been there before... http://www.mtfujirestaurants.com/

My mom and her friends go to Mt. Fuji in Hillburn for many special events. She also has friends who have big family dinners/gatherings for holidays. I believe they have buffets on holidays that offer much more than sushi--and from what I've heard it is very good and there is "something for everyone".

That's good to hear. On their website you can see their Mother's Day buffet items. It does seem like there is something for everyone.
