Ive only had it at waverly inn and am dying for a suggestion of another place that cooks qunioa well. any suggestions?
If you're willing, you can make it. Whole Foods sells it, among other natural food stores; it only takes 15 minutes to make it plain. (You can find recipes, if you want to get tricksy with it.)
I'm not a huge quinoa fan, so I don't know what the ones suggested taste like, but we were at sushi samba and they had a dish that I actually loved that my friend ordered.
I cannot recall if it is quinoa or not, but there is a "risotto" on Perilla's menu that is delicious.
Curly's Vegetarian makes amazing Quinoa pancakes at Brunch on the weekends.Highly recommended.
Shorty's 32 in Soho has a great quinoa side - not to mention great short ribs, mac and cheese, and excellent taste in music.
It's on Irving Mill's dinner menu, as an accompaniment to the duck breast. Haven't tried it there myself, though.
