Although I'm pretty excited about it (I love liege waffles!), it got me to thinking - is there anywhere that you can buy pre-packaged liege waffles/luiksewafles (the hardened ones with chunks of sugar in them) in NYC? I'm hoping maybe there's a store that sells them. I got spoiled when I was in Europe, and I miss them :( Also, does anyone know any stores in NYC that sell Cafe Du Monde beignet mix? I could order it from them online, but it would be nice if I could pick one up somewhere local. I get about 5 and refrigerate them all. They last for 2 weeks in the fridge. I forget how long they said they could last in the freezer, since I've never frozen them.
