i am looking for something absolutely delicious. i am in town for 1 night staying downtown and would love to have a fabulous meal in a great neighborhood.

Call Mistura.....see if you can get a last minute reservation. The food is wonderful and it's right near Avenue Road and Davenport.

i would go there in a heartbeat but the people i'm dining with won't pay 40 dollars for an entree... :-(

Hmm, you could try Globe Bistro on the Danforth, Bistro Tournesol which is considerably less expensive on Dupont, Pastis Express - yeah that would be a great choice but not sure if it's open tonight. Sorry on my way out the door, hope it works out for you. Let us know where you ended up. Cheers

Mr. Millygirl just had a great idea.....Gio's on Queen Street East at Leslie. Gio Rana's Really Really Good Food. Great atmosphere and nothing on the menu is expensive. The food is really good, very hip and definitely open tonight. Have fun!!!
