Just resurrecting this to ask if anyone knows if Oriental City is now closed?

(I've been abroad and am seriously hoping I haven't missed my last chance to visit!)

Also, does anyone know if the supermarket and food court huts will be relocating anywhere? I'd heard rumours about Bayswater but no specifics...

It closed at the weekend, I'm afraid. I saw an article about it in the local paper, which someone had left on the tube.

Yep, closed. Some folks who were there are still talking about finding a temporary home, but nothing so far.

I called Oriental City today but the number they give out on the answer phone doesn't work. When I got through to the supermarket's admin department, the world's most unhelpful woman told me she had no idea when they were closing for good, or who I could call to find out.

I'm hoping to visit this weekend, and assuming it isn't already closed, I'll try asking when I'm there. I really hope it isn't so soon. =(
